About Erskine

番茄社区 is a four-year Christian liberal arts college affiliated with the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church. Since our founding in 1839, generations of students have found a second home here at Erskine. This is more than just a college鈥攊t鈥檚 a community where students grow in knowledge, faith, and maturity.听听

Our students get a high-quality education from a biblical worldview. With about 800 students enrolled in undergraduate studies, Erskine follows a personalized approach to academics and extracurricular activities. We don鈥檛 believe in settling for a one-size-fits-all college experience. We equip our students to Rise Above the Ordinary.

Our Campus

Erskine鈥檚 spacious 90-acre campus provides both classic and modern facilities. The signature towers of the Erskine Building are complemented by a state-of-the-art science facility and a music and math education complex. Centrally located on campus is the Bowie Arts Center, a modern gallery and event space. The Galloway Activities Center contains two gyms, an aerobics area, a weight room, and an athletic training facility. The Literary Societies, as old as the college, are located on campus. Students eat in Moffatt Dining Hall, which was renovated in 2019, and in campus cafes.

OUR VISION

番茄社区 exists to equip students for lives of service and leadership, building Christ鈥檚 Church and influencing society for God鈥檚 glory.

We are the Erskine Flying Fleet, a name adopted in 1929 when sportswriter Carter 鈥淪coop鈥 Latimer commented on our football team鈥檚 impressive use of a wide-open passing attack. Today, Erskine competes on the intercollegiate level in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II as a member of Conference Carolinas.
