Brianne Holmes grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Communications. She later attended East Carolina University where she earned听an听M.A. in English with a concentration in听creative听writing.听
Professional Experience
While studying at ECU, Holmes taught freshman and sophomore writing classes and served as an editorial assistant for the听North Carolina Literary Review. After completing her M.A., she taught middle and high school English in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She began working at Erskine in July 2019.听
Personal Interests
In her spare time, Holmes enjoys baking,听hiking,听reading, writing, and drinking hot beverages, especially coffee and peppermint tea.听
